Crimson Exploration is an independent oil and gas company based in Houston, Texas. Crimson’s operations are concentrated in the U.S. Gulf Coast Region with over 350 producing wells located in Texas, Colorado, Louisiana and Mississippi and acreage positions in the highly prospective Haynesville Shale, Bossier and James Lime plays in San Augustine, Sabine and Shelby counties in East Texas and prospective acreage positions in South Texas and the Denver Julesburg Basin of Colorado. As of December 31, 2008, Crimson had estimated proved reserves of 132 Bcfe of natural gas equivalents. Crimson’s reserves are 69% proved developed, 88% natural gas & NGL’s, and 81% operated. For the third quarter of 2009, the Company's average production was approximately 38,300 mcfe per day.
