Crimson Exploration is an independent oil and gas company based in Houston, Texas. Crimson’s operations are concentrated in the U.S. Gulf Coast Region with approximately 300 producing wells located in Texas, Colorado, Louisiana and Mississippi and acreage positions in the highly prospective Haynesville Shale, Bossier and James Lime plays in San Augustine and Sabine counties in East Texas and prospective acreage positions in South Texas and the Denver Julesburg Basin of Colorado. As of December 31, 2009, Crimson had estimated proved reserves of 97.5 Bcfe of natural gas equivalents, based on year-end SEC guidelines. Crimson’s reserves are 70% proved developed, 88% natural gas & NGL’s, and over 80% operated. For the fourth quarter of 2009, after adjustment for properties sold in December 2009, the Company's average production was approximately 32,500 mcfe per day.
